Join us on November 7th and 8th, 2025, for a vibrant Día de los Muertos celebration at WHSF/Mexican Fiesta! Participate in Wisconsin’s largest Community Altar by bringing a photo of your loved ones to honor their memory.

Enjoy a theatrical and dance performance from Mexico and a special charla (talk) by Othon Tellez, Cultural Ambassador from Mexico, who will share the significance of this rich tradition. We’ll also hold a candlelight vigil and pre-Hispanic ceremony to honor the departed. See Full Program Below.

Join us for a creative and cozy Paint & Pan Dulce session with Mexican Cultural Ambassador Othón Téllez during our Día de los Muertos celebration! Experience an afternoon that blends artistry and tradition as you decorate your own Pan de Muerto to take home.
The Pan de Muerto, or “Bread of the Dead,” is a traditional sweet bread shared during Día de los Muertos to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. Its round shape represents the cycle of life and death, while the crossbones-shaped dough pieces symbolize the four directions of the universe.
Enjoy this interactive, hands-on session as you sip on warm cafecito, celebrate culture, and create sweet memories surrounded by community.
