When is Mexican Fiesta?
Mexican Fiesta is held on the fourth week of August. This year it is August 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. The Summerfest grounds will be opened to the public from noon to midnight.

 Where is Mexican Fiesta?

Mexican Fiesta is held at the Summerfest grounds, 200 N. Harbor Dr. Milwaukee, WI 53202.

Where is the Mexican Fiesta office?

The Mexican Fiesta central office is open year-round, and this one is found on 2997 S. 20th St. Milwaukee, WI 53215. From Tuesday, August 18th thru Tuesday, August 25th the office will operate from the Summerfest grounds, located at the ethnic office behind the Harley-Davidson stage.

Admission Information

Friday, August 26th

Free admission from 12:00pm noon to 3:00pm - For general public.

Stamp for re-entry available after 6:00 pm.

Saturday, August 27th

Free admission from 12:00pm noon to 1:00pm - For senior citizens 65 years old & older, people with disabilities, military active duty personnel and veterans with current military identification.

Sunday, August 28th

Free admission from 12:00pm noon to 1:00pm - For senior citizens 65 years old & older, people with disabilities, military active duty personnel and veterans with current military identification.

No re-entries after 11:30 pm to the festival grounds all 3 days.

Ticket Price

Tickets are $14.00 presale price, and $16.00 at the gate.

Children 8 years old & under enter FREE with an adult.

Fiesta Package: 4 admision tickets for $46.00/ original value $64.00 or 2 admision tickets for $25 / original value $32.

Promotion is available at the Mexican Fiesta office and online at www.mexicanfiesta.org. Promotion ends August 15th, 2016.

Sunday ONLY from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm admission is $11 when purchasing tickets at gate. Ticket must be used from noon to 2:00 pm.

            Summerfest General Parking lot is available for patrons and it is on a first-come-first-served availability basis. Price is also determined by Summerfest, not Mexican Fiesta.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Tickets for entry to Mexican Fiesta can be purchased with cash or credit card. We accept all credit cards. No personal checks will be accepted after July 30th, 2016.

Once you have entered Mexican Fiesta at the Summerfest grounds, you will need to buy beverage tickets (available at ticket booths located throughout the grounds) in order to purchase alcoholic beverages, bottled soda and water. No tickets will be needed to purchase food; food vendors will accept credit / debit cards and cash. 

Separate ride tickets will be available for purchase in order to enjoy our carnival rides. All of our booths will accept cash and credit card, also ATMs will be located throughout the festival for your convenience.

What all is there to do at Mexican Fiesta?

There is so much to do at Mexican Fiesta! Entertainment begins with our many bands and artists coming to Fiesta this year, we also have Mariachi bands, and local groups performing! Enjoy our beautiful Mexican culture at the Cultural Pavilion where you’ll even get an opportunity to take some of those beautiful artesanias home. Like Mexican food? Then you will love the delicious variety we have at Mexican Fiesta which includes our traditional Pan de Feria. Discover the mystique of Tequila at our Tequila Tasting showcased directly from Jalisco, Mexico. For all of you hot ride aficionados, we got the Hotwheelz 2016 showcase; come and admire Milwaukee’s hottest car and motorcycle show! At Mexican Fiesta we also want you to stay active, which is why you should part take in our Fiesta Run/Walk, as well as our the Soccer Tournament for children. Don’t forget to also check out the Community and Health Fair where many resources will be provided for you benefit. From jalapeno eating, to dance contests, Mexican Fiesta even offers cash prizes in different contests. At Mexican Fiesta there is always something for everyone in the family to do.

Can I bring my pet to Mexican Fiesta?

Pets will not be allowed at the Summerfest Grounds with the exception of service animals.

Food and Beverage

At Mexican Fiesta we have a wide variety of food and beverage with multiple restaurants and food stands located throughout the festival grounds. You will also be able to purchase Pepsi products and other beverages at Fiesta with beverage tickets.

Lost and Found

Our Lost and Found Area will be found at the ethnic office located on the Summerfest grounds behind the Harley-Davidson stage.

Lost Children Area

If for any reason you are separate from your child, here at Mexican Fiesta we have the lost children area located by the ethnic office behind the Harley-Davidson stage.

Safety and Security

At Mexican Fiesta, the safety of our patrons is a priority. We want you to feel safe from the minute you enter the Summerfest grounds, which is why we have a series of security resources for your convenience. At your service we have, Summerfest Security, Milwaukee Police department and even the National Latino Peace Officers, ready to take care of any emergency during the festival. So come to Mexican Fiesta and enjoy yourself without worrying about safety.

What is the difference between a ticket and beverage tickets?

Everyone must have a ticket to enter the festival grounds.

Mexican Fiesta will not be using meal tickets like in past years. Instead, all food vendors will be able to take cash and credit / debit cards. However, all beverages such as bottled water and sodas, as well as alcoholic beverages will require the purchase of beverage tickets which can be obtained at our ticket boots located throughout the festival grounds.

Can I rent a stroller or wheelchair?

Yes, Summerfest has access to a limited number of rentals that will be available at the Mid Gate with proper identification, and a minimal fee.

Is Mexican Fiesta accessible per ADA guidelines?

In compliance with the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act, the Summerfest grounds strive to provide all patrons with a barrier-free environment.

Drinking Fountains

These are located outside every restroom area and near the Children’s Area; drinking fountains are accessible to all patrons.

First Aid

First Aid station is located behind Harley-Davision Stage.

Do I contribute to any cause by attending Mexican Fiesta?

Yes, Mexican Fiesta one of the fundraiser events of the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation, Inc.(WHSF), which provides scholarships to young hispanic students of the state of Wisconsin. To date WHSF has provided more than $1,750,000+ in scholarships awards to deserving young man and women, as well as assisting nonprofit organization. BE PART OF THE CHANGE! It's the time.
